The BSEN1433 D400 SMC Composite Gully Grating is engineered for the most demanding drainage applications. Optimized Heavy-Duty Drainage & Manageable Weight: Designed with a high free area for maximum water flow, it effectively prevents flooding under extreme conditions. Despite its robust construction, its weight (from 17kg) remains significantly lower than equivalent cast iron, striking a perfect balance between ultimate strength and practical handling.
Exceptional Durability & Safety for Critical Infrastructure: The SMC material provides superior resistance to impact, chemicals, and weathering. It features our proprietary multi-directional anti-slip surface (SRV 89), ensuring safety in all conditions. The non-conductive material with no scrap value eliminates theft risk and electrical hazards.
Proven Longevity & Customizable Design: Rigorous UV aging tests show a minimal flexural strength loss of only ~10%, guaranteeing long-term performance.
